To learn more about Frontera, please visit our company About Us page. Our Research & Intelligence Marketplace (we call it RIM) is a repository of premium research that is published by consulting firms and analysts that specialize in emerging and frontier markets.
We offer a wide and diverse range of report types on RIM, with particular focus on political and economic risk in countries or regions that are in demand with our readership. We also publish research on market entry strategies, sector or company analysis, and insights on dealing with both public and private-sector entities in selected countries.
As the leading provider of business news and analysis in emerging markets, we created the Research & Intelligence Marketplace (RIM) to provide our corporate and institutional clients with a single point of access into the library of value-added research that our global network of subject-matter experts publish.
We frequently rely upon these publishers to provide us with local knowledge and content. These local experts offer unparalleled expertise and critical insights in their research products, yet for a variety of reasons they are not always readily accessible to the general public.
You can access all our contact details on Frontera’s Contact page. There is a form with the headline ‘Get In Touch’ which you can use to ask questions on a specific product. A member of our team will promptly respond to your questions or concerns.
You can contact us via telephone at:
USA: +1 202.830.0509

Please note that we are unable to answer questions directly related to the product’s content, or its subject matter. We can only address questions related to the product itself, or the RIM.

Please complete the auto-generated email that this form produces and send us a request. We will promptly send an invoice to the email address that you designate.
Upon registration of your email address, we will provide you with an account that enable you to access all your recently viewed categories and products for easy reference, as well as place orders online.
We value your privacy, and we hate spam as much as you do. We will not spam you, or sell your email address to any third party. We do need your email address so that we can reach you in relation to your account, or for any automatic notifications that you choose.
We also need your unique email address when registering to assure you register only one account, and to avoid abuse by automated ‘bots’ that hackers use to spam and weaken our platform.
If you have forgotten your password please select the “Forgot Password?” link on the ‘Login/Register’ page. Your password will be sent to the email address that you provided when you registered on the RIM.
Each product page contains three tabs with further information on the report offered for sale: Summary, Description, and Table of Contents. A review each of these sections will most likely confirm whether the report in question contains the information, data or analysis that you require.
In most cases we cannot provide details beyond what is provided in the tabbed sections of each product page. We provide a copious amount of information in those sections, so we are confident that you will be able to make an informed decision after reviewing them.
Products featured on RIM are assigned as one of two identifying categories: Region, which refers to the geographic region that a report covers; and Topic, which refers to the type of report that the product contains. You can also use the search function at the top of the RIM homepage to search for identifying keywords. Possible search terms can be (but are by no means limited to): ‘Kenya’, ‘Islamic State’, ‘Biotech’ etc.
At present RIM can only support the online purchase and download of research reports. Frontera does not currently send research reports via post or courier. Let us know if you would like this option become available in the near future.
Frontera places the highest priority on creating a secure and safe environment for our customers. Our entire website is protected with a best-in-class SSL (secure socket layer) encryption layer, and we have carefully vetted the procedures and practices of our selected payment processors.
Our team also reviews all orders to ensure that we can confirm the authenticity of the purchaser, regardless of the payment option that you choose.
We offer a number of payment methods:
Credit card: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, UnionPay and American Express.
Paypal
Wire transfer: After your order has been placed — either online, via fax or via post — an official invoice will be emailed to you if paying via wire transfer.
Bitcoin: Will be available later in 2016.
Unless a problem arises with the processing of your payment, then we will deliver your product to the requested email address immediately upon confirmation of payment.
While unlikely, it is possible that your server may divert any emails from us to your spam/trash folder. To avoid this unfortunate tragedy, please ‘white-list’ our email address domains, which are @fronteranews.com and @frontera.vc
Not at this time. However, we may be able to introduce interested academic organizations to companies that may purchase the product for their institution as part of a sponsorship package.
From time to time we will issue promotion codes to selected customers, or offer limited-time promotions on RIM. However we do not normally grant indefinite discounts to customers, nor do we offer volume discounts for bulk purchases.
We do not provide refunds for orders, nor do we accept returns.
We are not able to cancel an order once it has been placed, and the customer has authorized us to process the transaction.
