Malaysia Plans High Speed Rail Link to Singapore

In May, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is expected to announce plans to construct a high-speed rail line that will connect Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The new link line will reduce travel times between the two cities from five hours to 90 minutes when construction is complete in 2022, at a total projected cost of nearly US$ 6 billion.
