Another Strong Egyptian Debut On The LSE

Egyptian company listings on the London Stock Exchange are becoming more prevalent than Middle Eastern restaurants in Knightsbridge. In May Integrated Diagnostic Holdings (IDHC), an operator of medical testing and radiology labs, completed a public offering and was twelve times oversubscribed.  The stock rose 26 percent on its first day of trading.

IDHC continues a trend of successful Egyptian IPOs in London.  Edita, a packaged snack manufacturer, completed a dual listing in Cairo and London earlier this year.  NMC Healthcare (2012) and Al Noor Hospitals (2013) are also included among the ten Egyptian companies currently listed in London, with a combined market capitalization of US$ 24 billion.
